§ 5:10A-63 — Contracts, apportionment of costs and expenses.

63. a. The commission may enter into contracts with one or more municipalities, counties, or other public agencies for the operation of public improvements, works, facilities, services, or undertakings of the municipalities, counties, or agencies, or of the commission. b. Contracts entered into pursuant to this section shall specifically provide for the services or improvements to be undertaken, the fee or fees to be charged for such services or facilities, the method of apportionment of such fees among the contracting parties, persons, officers, or agencies responsible for the performance of the contract, and other appropriate terms and conditions of participation. c. Contracts entered into pursuant to this section shall be subject to approval, by resolution, of the commission and of the governing body of each participating municipality, county, or other participating agency. d. The apportionment of costs and expenses may be based upon property valuations, population, area, and of any other factors as may be provided in the contract. L.2015, c.19, s.63.
