Each water company organized under the laws of this State may take and divert sources of water supply and build, erect, alter, repair, enlarge and maintain reservoirs and works and may lay pipes and conduits and install facilities for water as shall be necessary and proper to enable the company to carry into effect the purposes of its incorporation. Amended by L.1962, c. 198, s. 191.
