§ 48:16A-1 — Definitions

As used in this act "Vehicle" means and includes any horse-drawn vehicle owned or operated in the business of carrying passengers for hire by a driver furnished with the vehicle or by any other person. "Person" means and includes any individual, co-partnership, association, corporation or joint stock company, their lessees, trustees or receivers appointed by any court whatsoever. "Street" means and includes any street, avenue, park, parkway, highway, or other public place. L.1965, c. 40, s. 1.
