§ 46:9-6 — Covenant as to acceleration

A covenant in any mortgage in the words, "That the whole of the principal sum shall at the option of the holder of the mortgage become due after default in the payment of any installment of principal or interest for (number to be inserted) days, or after default in the payment of any tax, water rate or assessment for (number of days to be inserted) days, or in default in keeping the buildings insured against loss by fire for the benefit of and to the satisfaction of the holder of the mortgage" , shall be construed to have the same force and effect as the following: "Should any default be made in the payment of any installment of principal or any part thereof, or of the said interest or any part thereof, on any day whereon the same is made payable, as above expressed, or should any tax, ass
