2.As used in this act: a. "Department" means the Department of Community Affairs.
b."Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Community Affairs.
c."Warranty" means the warranty prescribed by the commissioner pursuant to P.L.1977, c.467 (C.46:3B-1 et seq.).
d."New home" means any dwelling unit not previously occupied, excluding dwelling units constructed solely for lease.
e."Owner" means any person for whom the new home is built or to whom the home is sold for occupation by him or his family as a home and his successors in title to the home or mortgagee in possession. Owner does not mean any development company, association or subsidiary company of the builder or any person or organization to whom the home may be sold or otherwise conveyed by the builder for subsequent resale, letting o
