13.The board may grant a license to practice counseling or rehabilitation counseling to any person who at the time of application is licensed or certified by an agency located in another state, territory or jurisdiction, if in the opinion of the committee the requirements of that licensure or certification are substantially similar to the requirements of this act. L.1993,c.340,s.13; amended 1997, c.155, s.12; per s.20 of 1993, c.340, act to expire if certain contingency met.
