45:22-12. Every pawnbroker shall annually, submit to the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance, on such forms and within the time as may be prescribed by him, a report under oath, giving the number and amount of loans made during the preceding calendar year, and the balance of all loans outstanding at the close of the year, the rates of interest charged and such other information as the commissioner may require. A pawnbroker that fails to make and file its annual report in the form and within the time provided in this section shall be subject to a penalty of not more than $100 for each day's failure, and the commissioner may revoke or suspend its authority to do business in this State.
