§ 43:15C-1 Defined Contribution Retirement Program; rules, regulations; terms defined.

New Jersey·Title 43 PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION
1.There is hereby established in the Department of the Treasury a Defined Contribution Retirement Program. The program design shall be one that is permitted for governmental plans under the federal Internal Revenue Code as determined by the State Treasurer. The retirement program is deemed to be a pension fund or retirement system for purposes of P.L.1968, c.23 (C.43:3C-1 et seq.). The State Treasurer may adopt, pursuant to the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of sections 1 through 15 of P.L.2007, c.92 (C.43:15C-1 et seq.), except that notwithstanding the provisions of P.L.1968, c.410 to the contrary, the State Treasurer may adopt, immediately upon filing with the Office of Administrative Law,
