Text
The governing body of any municipality may provide by ordinance for the appointment of a board of commissioners to consist of not more than five residents of the municipality who shall have general supervision and control over the maintenance, operation, and regulation of any such public golf course, and of all forms of recreation, playground, and public entertainment activities carried on in connection therewith. The members of such commission shall serve without compensation but their necessary expenses shall be allowed and paid by the municipality. L.1945, c. 282, p. 831, s. 4, eff. May 2, 1945
