The governing body of any municipality may annually appropriate money to be raised by taxation to develop, maintain and operate a public swimming pool and all forms of recreation, playground, and public entertainment activities carried on in connection therewith. L.1957, c. 166, p. 597, s. 5, eff. July 22, 1957.
