Upon the acceptance of any such award, or payment thereof into the Superior Court, title to the real estate or right or interest therein shall vest in the city, which may thereupon enter upon and take possession of such real estate or right or interest therein and remove all persons therefrom. A duplicate original of the award as confirmed, or a copy thereof certified by the clerk of the court as a true copy of the award as confirmed by the court shall be recorded in the office in which deeds are recorded in the county in which the city is situated in the records of deeds for such county. The officer in charge of such office shall cause the names of the owner or owners of the property taken as shown by such award to be indexed under "grantors" in the index of deeds for such county, and the
