Text
The purpose of every county recreation authority shall be the improvement, establishment and development of recreational facilities within the county by or through the planning, acquisition, construction, improvement, maintenance or operation of any and all facilities for the recreation and entertainment of the public including but not limited to facilities for sports, exhibitions, games, ice-skating, boating, tennis, golf, a zoo and a nature center. L.1967, c. 136, s. 10, eff. June 28, 1967.
