The county clerk shall cause the question to be printed upon the sample and official ballots for the general election in substantially the following form: "To vote upon the public question printed below, if in favor thereof, mark a cross (X) or plus (+) in the square at the left of the word "Yes," and if opposed thereto mark a cross (X) or plus (+) in the square at the left of the word "No." "Shall a county park commission be appointed in Yes. ................ county pursuant to chapter ...... (inserting the number of the chapter of No. this act), pamphlet laws of one thousand nine hundred and forty-six?" L.1946, c. 276, p. 948, s. 23.
