40:33-14. The board of chosen freeholders may maintain at the courthouse a law library for the use of the courts held in the county, and for that purpose shall purchase such reports and statutes of the United States, the State of New Jersey and other states and countries and such textbooks as may be designated by the assignment judge of the Superior Court. The amount so expended shall not exceed the sum fixed annually by the board of chosen freeholders. Amended 1953,c.37,s.61; 1954,c.250; 1991,c.91,s.380.
