§ 40:27-4 — Hearing before plan adopted; notice of hearing; resolution; vote required; municipal master plan, official map or ordinance

New Jersey·Title 40 MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES
a.Before adopting the master plan or any part thereof or any amendment thereof the board shall hold at least one public hearing thereon, notice of the time and place of which shall be given by one publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county and by the transmission by delivery or by certified mail, at least 20 days prior to such hearing, of a notice of such hearing and a copy of the proposed master plan, or part thereof or any proposed amendment thereof to the municipal clerk and secretary of the planning board of each municipality in the county. The adoption of the plan or part or amendment thereof shall be by resolution of the board carried by the affirmative vote of not less than 2/3 of the members of the board.
