The board of chosen freeholders of any county may contribute to a county firemen's association within the county a sum not to exceed $25,000.00 in any 1 year for the operation of an emergency operating control center to serve the entire county for the better preservation of life and property against fire or any other type of emergency. L.1967, c. 224, s. 1, eff. Oct. 13, 1967.
