Text

The board of chosen freeholders, when contemplating the making of any improvement or the doing of any work, may accept any sum contributed by any person towards the cost or expense thereof, which sum shall be used only for the purpose for which it was accepted. The board may also agree in writing with any person that he shall pay such sum towards, or proportion of the cost or expense of such improvement or work as may be specified in the agreement.
