Text

Every joint agreement creating a regional board under this article shall provide for a representative member on such board for each constituent municipality or county and may provide for additional representative members for any such constituent municipality or county. The representative member or members on a regional board for a constituent municipality shall be appointed by the mayor. Any such member, after a public hearing if he requests one, may be removed for cause by the governing body of such constituent municipality. The representative member or members of a regional board for a constituent county shall be appointed by the board of chosen freeholders of such county. Any such member, after public hearing if he requests one, may be removed for cause by the board of chosen freeholder
