Text
A person who shall: a. Sell, offer or expose for sale any package of legume inoculant which does not comply with the provisions of this article; or b. Interfere with any official employed in the enforcement of this article-- Shall be liable to a penalty of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, to be sued for and recovered in a civil action by and in the name of the department. All penalties recovered under this article shall be paid into the State treasury. Amended by L.1953, c. 5, p. 32, s. 19.
