1.A law enforcement agency shall not conduct a roadside checkpoint or other systematic inspection of vehicles along any public road, street, or highway of this State if the roadside checkpoint or systematic inspection is established for the sole purpose of inspecting motorcycles. This section shall not be construed to restrict or limit in any capacity any other type of checkpoint, inspection, or roadblock conducted by a law enforcement agency for legitimate public safety reasons.
