§ 39:8-57 — Rules, regulations

New Jersey·Title 39 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION
17.The director shall adopt, after consultation with the Department of Environmental Protection and pursuant to the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), any rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of P.L.1995, c.112 (C.39:8-41 et al.) or to place this State in substantial compliance with the motor vehicle emission inspection and maintenance requirements established by federal law, except that these rules and regulations shall not require the use of the "I/M 240" test. L.1995,c.112,s.17.
