§ 39:8-5 — Reports to chief administrator; forms.
New Jersey·Title 39 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION
39:8-5.
a.Every designated inspector, official inspection facility or private inspection facility shall make such reports to the chief administrator concerning inspections made and the results thereof, and in such form and at such time, as the chief administrator may require. The chief administrator may furnish to the inspectors and inspection facilities forms for such reports. The chief administrator may require the use of electronic media for the gathering and transmission of inspection data and reports when the chief administrator deems it appropriate or when electronic media are required by federal law.
b.Every motor vehicle repair facility that is registered pursuant to section 13 of P.L.1995, c.112 (C.39:8-53) shall make such reports to the chief administrator concerning emission r
