§ 39:8-43 — Definitions

3.As used in chapter 8 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes: "Certificate of Approval" means a document, in a form determined by the director, issued in accordance with guidelines set by the division certifying that a motor vehicle complies with the requirements of Title 39 and Title 26 of the Revised Statutes and the regulations regarding the inspection of motor vehicles adopted pursuant thereto; "Director" means the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles in the Department of Law and Public Safety; "Division" means the Division of Motor Vehicles in the Department of Law and Public Safety; "Federal Clean Air Act" means the federal "Clean Air Act," 42 U.S.C. s.7401 et seq., and any subsequent amendments or supplements to that act; "Gross weight" means gross vehicle weight rating, as tha
