2.Any person who transfers or attempts to transfer a motor vehicle in violation of this act shall be subject to a fine of $150.00 for a first offense and $250.00 for each subsequent offense. Such offense shall be prosecuted in the Superior Court or in the municipal court. L.1971,c.311,s.2; amended 1991,c.91,s.376.
