In every sale or transfer of a used motor vehicle which has been used as a police patrol car, whether said patrol car bore markings identifying it as such or not, the certificate of ownership shall state that said motor vehicle was used as a police patrol car, and shall continue to so state on each subsequent sale or transfer. L.1971, c. 311, s. 1, eff. Sept. 2, 1971.
