38A:22-5.

a.As used in this section: "Vietnam veteran" means a resident of this State who: served in the Armed Forces of the United States in Southeast Asia in the Vietnam conflict and received a Vietnam Service Ribbon or an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; was honorably discharged or generally discharged under honorable conditions; and was domiciled in New Jersey on April 9, 1985, for a period of not less than two consecutive years, exclusive of any time spent on active duty.
b.A Vietnam veteran, upon being accepted to pursue a course of study for an initial undergraduate degree in a public institution of higher education of this State as enumerated in N.J.S.18A:62-1, shall be entitled to tuition assistance, while enrolled as a student in good standing at that college, in an amount up
