§ 38A:17-2 — "Emergency" defined

New Jersey·Title 38A MILITARY AND VETERANS LAW
As used in this chapter the term "emergency" shall mean and include any disaster resulting from enemy attack, sabotage or other hostile action, or from fire, flood, earthquake or other natural causes. L.1963, c. 109.
