Text

Every sleeping place erected or constructed subsequent to the effective date of this act shall contain sufficient air space and partitions to insure an adequate supply of fresh air, and reasonable privacy for each occupant; provided, that each such sleeping place shall conform to the standards prescribed by the Secretary of Labor of the United States pursuant to 48 United States Statutes at Large 117, section 12, approved June 6, 1933 (29 U.S.C. 49k, as amended and supplemented. Every sleeping place which, on the effective date of this act, is maintained, operated, occupied or used by persons working in or at camps to which this article applies, shall be made to conform, no later than January 1, 1970, to the standards prescribed by the Secretary of Labor of the United States pursuant to 48
