Text
34:6-136. Any penalty for a violation of this article shall be recovered in a civil action brought in the name of the commissioner in the Superior Court or municipal court of the municipality, where the offense is committed. A penalty recovered shall be transmitted by the clerk of the court to the commissioner and by him paid into the treasury of this State. Amended 1953,c.33, s.16; 1991,c.91,s.347.
