§ 34:1B-225 — Transfer of New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority, Office of Urban Enterprise Zone Authority.

16. a. The New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority in the New Jersey Commerce Commission, transferred to the Department of the Treasury pursuant to subsection a. of section 28 of P.L.1998, c.44 (C.52:27C-88), and the Office of Urban Enterprise Zone Authority in the New Jersey Commerce Commission which provides services necessary and incidental to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority pursuant to subsection d. of section 28 of P.L.1998, c.44 (C.52:27C-88), together with their respective functions, powers, and duties, are continued and are transferred to the Department of Community Affairs, provided however, that the authority shall be in, but not of, that department. b. Whenever, in any law, rule, regulation, order, reorganization plan, contract, document, judicial or administrative proceeding, or otherwise, reference is made to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority or the Office of Urban Enterprise Zone Authority in the Department of the Treasury or the New Jersey Commerce Commission, the same shall mean and refer to the Department of Community Affairs.
