§ 34:1B-215 — Division of Business Assistance, Marketing, and International Trade established.

a.In order to improve efficiency, achieve savings, and enhance the productivity of the State's interaction with the private sector, there is hereby established in the New Jersey Economic Development Authority the Division of Business Assistance, Marketing, and International Trade. To preserve the independence of the financing functions of the authority, notwithstanding this allocation, the division shall maintain a budget separate from the authority which shall be funded through annual appropriation by the Legislature from the General Fund.
b.The division shall be under the supervision of a director, appointed by the Governor, who shall be employed by and report to the Executive Director of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. The director shall be a person qualified by trai
