§ 34:16-20 — Definitions.

1.As used in this chapter: "Division" means the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, for the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. "Maintenance" means payments to cover the basic living expenses of a person with a disability, such as: food, shelter, clothing, health maintenance, and other subsistence expenses essential to achievement of the individual's vocational rehabilitation or independent living rehabilitation objective. "Individual with a disability" means, for the purpose of vocational rehabilitation services, any individual who has a physical or mental disability which constitutes a substantial impediment to employment, but which is of such a nature that vocational rehabilitation services may reasonably be expe
