2B:2-3. Judge Seeking Elective Office. A justice or judge of any court of this State, who becomes a candidate for an elective public office, thereby forfeits judicial office, but this section shall not apply to a surrogate. Source: N.J.S.2A:11-2 L.1991,c.119,s.1.
