Text

As used in this chapter: a. "Reciprocating jurisdiction" means a state of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a territory or possession of the United States of America, which has enacted this law or provides substantially equivalent access to its courts and administrative agencies; b. "Person" means an individual person, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, joint venture, government in its private or public capacity, governmental subdivision or agency, or any other legal entity. L.1983, c. 570, s. 1, eff. Jan. 17, 1984.
