§ 2A:52-3 — Effect of change of name on actions or other proceedings
New Jersey·Title 2A ADMINISTRATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
No action, or other legal proceeding commenced in his former name against any person whose name shall have been changed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall, by reason of such misnomer, be abated, nor shall any relief of recovery sought thereby be prevented. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
