Text
If a mortgagee or those holding under him shall be in possession of the real estate specified in the mortgage, or any part thereof, for 20 years after a default of payment by the mortgagor, the right or equity of redemption in the mortgage shall be forever barred. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
