§ 2A:44-162 — Disposition of proceeds of sale
New Jersey·Title 2A ADMINISTRATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
The proceeds of the sale after the deduction of the expenses thereof shall be applied to the payment of the lien. No more of the property shall be sold, if easily separated or divided, than shall be necessary to pay the lien and expenses. The balance of the proceeds, if any, shall be paid to those entitled thereto. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
