Text

As used in this act: a. "Highway route controlled quantity" means the same as it is defined by the United States Department of Transportation at 49 CFR 173.403 or any superseding regulation.

b."Radioactive material" means the same as it is defined by the United States Department of Transportation at 49 CFR 173.403 or any superseding regulation.
c."State-designated route" means a preferred route selected in accordance with United States Department of Transportation "Guidelines for Selecting Preferred Highway Routes for Large Quantity Shipments of Radioactive Materials" or an equivalent routing analysis which adequately considers overall risk to the public. L. 1987, c. 12, s. 2.
