Text
The county health officer shall prepare and submit annually to the board of chosen freeholders, subject to the advice of the county board, in each year, a budget setting forth in detail the amounts of money necessary for the operation of the county department of health for environmental health purposes, during the ensuing year. The board of chosen freeholders shall include annually in the tax levy the amount of money which it believes will best meet the environmental health needs of the county. L.1977, c. 443, s. 13, eff. March 2, 1978.
