30.The commission may waive any requirement of P.L.2009, c.307 (C.24:6I-1 et al.) if the commission determines that granting the waiver is necessary to achieve the purposes of P.L.2009, c.307 (C.24:6I-1 et al.) and provide access to patients who would not otherwise qualify for the medical use of cannabis to alleviate suffering from a diagnosed medical condition, and does not create a danger to the public health, safety, or welfare.
