§ 20:3-44 — Payment of amount of judgment on appeal; right to possession; lien, other remedies
New Jersey·Title 20 EMINENT DOMAIN
The amount of the judgment on the appeal, or so much thereof as shall not have been paid, shall be paid to the parties entitled thereto or paid into court as provided in section 34 of this act. If possession shall not have been taken theretofore, the plaintiff, upon payment as aforesaid, may, notwithstanding any further appeal or other proceedings, take possession of the lands or other property for the purposes for which the same was authorized to be taken. The persons entitled to receive payment of the judgment shall be entitled to the same lien as is provided in section 34 of this act for the collection of awards of commissioners and shall have such other remedies as may be appropriate for the recovery of the same.
