§ 18A:64A-72 — Employee benefit programs
New Jersey·Title 18A EDUCATION
Eligible employees of the county college shall be enrolled in the alternate benefit program pursuant to P.L.1969, c. 242 (C. 18A:66-167 et seq.). The county college shall be responsible for the payment of any additional pension costs which are in excess of the maximum contributions provided by the State. Employees of the private institution who have previously been enrolled in the TIAA-CREF program at that institution, but are ineligible for membership in the alternate benefit program, may continue in the TIAA-CREF program. All new employees not eligible for enrollment in the alternate benefit program shall enroll in the Public Employees' Retirement System if they are otherwise eligible.
