The board of education of each county vocational school district and the board of education of each city referred to above in section 18A:54-11.1, are each hereby authorized and empowered to undertake and to enter into agreements of any nature whatsoever necessary, desirable, useful or convenient for and with respect to the assumption, operation, or administration by the county vocational school district of any system of vocational education then being maintained in such city, including, but not limited to, the transfer of principals, teachers, employees, pupils or classes, the purchase, grant, transfer or lease to the county vocational school district of any lands, schools, buildings, furnishings, equipment, apparatus or supplies constituting part of or used in connection with such city s
