§ 18A:40A-17 — Outreach program

10.
a.Under the guidelines established by the Commissioner of Education, each local board of education shall establish an outreach program to provide substance use education for the parents or legal guardians of the pupils of the district. In establishing the program, the local board of education shall consult with such local organizations and agencies as are recommended by the commissioner. The board of education shall ensure that the program is offered at times and places convenient to the parents of the district on school premises, or in other suitable facilities.
b.In addition to the substance use education program required pursuant to this section, each local board of education shall establish policies and procedures to provide assistance to parents or legal guardians who believe th
