4.Every district or regional board of education shall, as part of any computer education instruction it provides, notify students on the potential risks and dangers posed to children by persons who use interactive computer services for illegal purposes. The notification shall be adapted to the age and understanding of elementary and secondary school pupils. The notification shall include information concerning the safe computing guidelines made available on the internet by the department pursuant to section 3 of P.L.1998, c.134 (C.52:17B-193). The Department of Education shall recommend guidelines and curriculum materials for utilization by local school districts on the ethical use of computers and the potential risks and dangers posed to juveniles by persons who use interactive computer
