Text
Any insurer which establishes one or more variable contract accounts and issues variable annuity contracts may in its discretion, but need not, require in any case the purchase of annuities which provide for benefits of predetermined dollar amount in specified proportions in combination with the purchase of annuities providing for benefits of variable dollar amount. L.1971, c. 144, s. 17B:28-12.
