7. a. All persons offering travel insurance to residents of this State are subject to section 3 of P.L.1947, c.379 (C.17:29B-3), except as otherwise provided in this section. In the event of a conflict between P.L.2025, c.153 (C.17:46E-1 et seq.) and other provisions of Title 17 of the Revised Statutes or Title 17B of the New Jersey Statutes regarding the sale and marketing of travel insurance and travel protection plans, the provisions of P.L.2025, c.153 (C.17:46E-1 et seq.) shall control. b. Offering or selling a travel insurance policy that could never result in payment of any claims for any insured under the policy is an unfair trade practice pursuant to section 3 of P.L.1947, c.379 (C.17:29B-3). c.
