Section 17B:26-2 of Title 17B shall not apply to fraternal benefit societies nor shall that part of section 17B:26-4 apply which requires that the policy, including the endorsements and the attached papers, if any, constitutes the entire contract of insurance. The word "policy" as used in chapter 26 of Title 17B shall mean "certificate" as applied to fraternal benefit societies. L.1959, c. 168, p. 696, s.
