Text
11.Papers, documents, reports, or evidence relative to the subject of an investigation under this act shall not be subject to public inspection except as specifically provided in this act. The commissioner shall not detain subpenaed records after an investigation is closed or, if a claim for a civil penalty is filed by the commissioner pursuant to section 5 or subsection d. of section 7, upon final disposition of the claim by a court of competent jurisdiction, whichever shall be the later date. Subpenaed records shall be returned to the persons from whom they were obtained.
