Text
The department shall make every effort to involve hazardous materials advisory councils, where they exist; local government officials, and other pertinent entities in explaining actions taken in regard to facilities in their areas. Local ordinances which are inconsistent with, in conflict with, or more restrictive than the provisions of this act must be approved by the department before adoption. L. 1985, c. 403, s. 14, eff. Jan. 8, 1986.
